Digital Heritage Trainee

James graduated from the University of York with an MA in Medieval Archaeology. He has over 10 years experience in field archaeology with a shift in focus towards digital heritage in the last 3 years. His work with The Centre for the Study of Christianity and Culture began on the 'Becket Connection' project in 2018. James' largest piece of work was the archaeologically informed 3D modelling of Canterbury in c.1450 and included a variety of buildings and props. His work at the centre has also explored the applications of Game Engine Technologies and their application in learning and teaching resources already being produced.
