Alice read History at the University of Oxford, and recently completed an MA in Medieval Studies at the University of York. She joined the Centre at the start of 2019, having previously worked as a graduate intern on the 3 year AHRC-funded project ‘Pilgrimage and England’s Cathedrals, past and present.’ Her work for the Centre is focused around audience consultation and public engagement.
Alice has provided audience consultation and analysis for partnerships with Lichfield Cathedral, Beverley Minster and Coventry Cathedral. She is also enthusiastic about using social media to widen public engagement with cultural heritage. Her main research interests include medieval craftsmanship, religious communities and how people tell the stories of their past.
