Alice read History at the University of Oxford, and recently completed an MA in Medieval Studies at the University of York. She joined the Centre at the start of 2019, having previously worked as a graduate student on the AHRC-funded project ‘Pilgrimage and England’s Cathedrals, past and present.’ Her work for the Centre is focused around heritage partnerships, audience development and content research and writing.

Alice has provided audience consultation for partnerships with Lichfield Cathedral, Beverley Minster and Coventry Cathedral. She has worked on content creation for touchscreens at St Davids Cathedral, Pembrokeshire and for an installation about Stanley Baldwin for the Bewdley Civic Society. She is also keen on using social media to widen public engagement with cultural heritage.
