Dr Victoria Nesfield

Centre Manager

Victoria read English with Educational Studies at the University of Hull, followed by a PhD in Holocaust Literature and Jewish Identity at the University of Leeds. She has worked at several universities in Yorkshire, teaching theology and religious studies, as a researcher in issues of religion in society, and as a Research Fellow on two externally funded research projects. She was assistant editor of the International Journal of Public Theology and has published on the Holocaust in relation to religion and the public sphere, education, and literature.

Victoria joined Christianity and Culture in 2016. She continues her research in Holocaust studies, alongside supporting the Christianity & Culture team and managing the Centre.
